THE VECAD (VLSI – ECAD) RESEARCH GROUP IS COMPOSED OF RESEARCHERS WHOSE INTERESTS ARE BASED ON MICROELECTRONIC EMBEDDED SYSTEM AND ADVANCED DIGITAL COMPUTING ARCHITECTURES. VECAD RESEARCH GROUP CONDUCTS RESEARCH IN THE AREAS OF VERY LARGE SCALE INTEGRATION (VLSI) DESIGN, FPGA EMBEDDED SYSTEMS, SYSTEM-ON-CHIP DESIGN AND VERIFICATION FOR VARIOUS APPLICATIONS SUCH AS BIOMETRICS, CRYPTOGRAPHY, DRIVER DROWSINESS, CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORKS, EVOLUTIONARY ALGORITHMS AND MORE. RESEARCH ACTIVITIES ARE CARRIED OUT AT THE VECAD LAB, MICROELECTRONICS LAB AND THE NETWORKING LAB. VECAD GROUP FREQUENTLY COLLABORATES WITH INDUSTRY PARTNERS TO ENSURE THE RESEARCH AND TEACHING STAYS RELEVANT WITH LATEST TECHNOLOGY TRENDS AND BREAKTHROUGHS.
